New Venture for EWD!

Cerritos Area Small Business Owners Network was founded on September 14, 2012. It was formed on MeetUp.com and currently has 30 Colleagues (members). The groups first meeting was held on Friday October 26 and was a great success, with 16 in attendance!

CASBON was formed by a local business owner from Cerritos, California. As an organization it has three main goals:

• To bring together trustworthy business collegues from the local community.
  
  
• To help and support each other in learning new marketing and advertising techniques.
  
  
• To generate a regular source of new business for the benefit of one another.
  

Unlike other business networks, CASBON is a "not for profit" organization that exists purely for the benefit of its members. At this time there is no fee for membership in the group, but in the future we may make necessary changes for the benefit of the group. Being a "not for profit" means that any excess funds that may ever be collected will be spent on promoting the group, or on social occasions for the benefit of members. If you are a home based business in the Cerritos area, you are invited to attend one of our meetings and see for yourself what we're all about. Talk to our members and decide if CASBON can benefit your business. If you join, and are able to provide a good service for members and their associates, you can expect a steady stream of new business leads, and many new friendships as well!

CASBON operates as an exclusive group of home based / small business owners in which only one company represents each field or service / product. So, for example, we only have one financial advisor, one marketing company, one web-designer, one contract cleaner etc. This means that there is no competition between members, and there is no confusion over who should be passed a lead.
